Not sure if this will help any one new to TS7 as you probably know your way round by now. However, there have been a few questions about where icons are placed so hopefully this will help a bit. Sorry about image size (limits of forum). PM me if you want a bigger version...:)

HAHAHAHAHA!!

That's great. Maybe you should make a printable Quick Reference Guide like the old ones. :)

Seriously though this actually illustrates clearly why Calgari needs to radically re-think their stand on TS's interface. When you force your users to adopt getting larger monitors(20+ inch) or start using 2 monitors to have an uninhibitated workspace you MUST question whether it's a positive user-friendly interface or a barrier for your users.

You're kidding right? The interface is totally customizable and minimizable. If you want one button bar that expands out to everything you can assemble that. And you can do it in about 5 minutes.

I take it you do not have a boxed copy of TS7 then....

Then supply an example, besides having everything in one place isn't the only problem involved.

splinters, no I don't have the box version, but I'm surprised that they continued with that. Cost of printing and all.

Then supply me with TS7. I have seen the example of what you are referring to and it simply doesn't cut it.

Blimey, you try and post something to help out the TS7 users and it starts a debate. Bottom line here like I said when I first posted this-it might help some people-at least one person has already asked for a larger version and I am happy to oblige. If you don't want or need it or you do not use TS7 fine also but do we really need to argue about it......

Chrono, some people still like to read a manual and/or look at the icons in a large colour format. Choice is good....:D

When I get a minute I will set up an example of a clean uncluttered UI with minimum icons and max real estate, this would be very easy to do and should demonstrate the flexibility of the new UI.

What you see in a screen image like this is just about EVERYTHING! In reality it is nothing like this.

Really is not fair to put down the UI/interface/workflow if you have not spent at least a few hours playing around with it first. It really is better than TS6.

Hey splinters don't waste your time unless you think that it will be benefical for new users. I stop posting here and distracting the threads purpose.

Chrono, I am not really wasting my time as I already had the graphics at hand and it took no time at all to make this. Besides, I have posted it now so it is out there for anyone who wants it. Job done...no harm.;)

As for your offer to cease posting here, this thread was suggested by Norm as it was not quite suitable for the FAQ itself. It was intended as more of a repository than a thread for discussion I guess....
