This is lightworks render.

This is Virtualight render.

Nothing is changed in scene. Both the same. Just the render is switched. Why no background in Vlight?

TIA

Bob

I am not sure, I've had similiar problems. Though, I seem to remember to select an unchecked box somewhere, I forget...

Tell me, do you use Virtuaout along with Virtual light?

And btw, (if you don't mind me by asking) how did you achieve that in VL? I can't seem to get any visible results with VL :(

Just right click on the render button and make sure the tool icon is selected. And my settings are as follows...

images removed by administrator. Maximum size is 800x600. Please do not link to images larger than this.

Thankx Norm

Hope this helps.

Here a render using an IBL (image based light) in both lightworks and VL.

Lightworks first

Now VL

VL... pew!

BTW...VL IBL takes LONG to render.

Looks like you used the clouds background shader which doesn't currently work with VirtuaLight (or VRay). It's a Lightworks background shader.
