Yes, but they wouldn't be any use to you unless you have a dual monitor setup. |

Paul..a one monitor setup of full? I have one without the row of tabs on top if you are interested..I can set it up as a one monitor setup .. |

Thanks guys-I am trying to get the basic layouts that you get with installation. I adapted Full and Default layouts and can see no way of getting them back to their 'default' without a reinstall. I appreciate the offers but has anyone got a 'virgin' install of TS7 with the layouts intact? |

Ohhhh, you mean like this (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/alien42/images_for_caligari_forum/Default%20layout%20(old).RsLyt) & this (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/alien42/images_for_caligari_forum/Full%20layout%20(old).RsLyt)?

In future, before modifying, rename them eg "default (old)", then modify, then use insert to save a copy of the new version. You can change the order of the layouts on the tab as well by rearranging them in the layout library.

Many thanks guys.
As for backing up-I am afraid over -zealous testing and messing with UI caused the problem in the first place-expected to be installing a different version anyway but never happened...:confused:

Oh well, you've got them back now, so all's well that ends well. :) Speaking of newer versions, I know Roman started that competition for people to win a spot as a beta for 7.1, but do we proTeamers get to test it as well, or not? |

I know Roman started that competition for people to win a spot as a beta for 7.1, but do we proTeamers get to test it as well, or not?
As far as I know that Beta team would consist of existing members (and newer ones) most suited to testing character animation. There has been nothing mentioned, that I have heard, about proteam testing it. Better off getting some animation in for the competition..:o

Oh, I thought there was going to be other stuff in 7.1, didn't realise it was going to be exclusively animation. I'm not really up to prducing animation yet, I figure I'll cross that bridge [no pun intended], when my modelling's improved. At the moment I'm just getting to grips with Nurbs, as I figure I should be able to do what I want easier than if I tried it with polys.
