I'm having a little difficulty getting Projects to work correctly in TS7. In previous versions a project could have its own materials, scenes, objects, etc. associated with it. You open a project and only the items associated with that project are displayed in the libraries. I am having difficulty getting TS7 to display this behavior.

Here is what I did. I selected File-->New-->Project. I gave it a new name, unchecked import, and saved. Then from Windows Explorer I moved all of the library and texture files from a project I had in TS6.6 into the new project folder. At first all seemed well. I was able to access all the materials, objects, and scenes associated with this project.

Then I switched back to the Default project that came with TS7. The scene changed but then I discovered that the libraries were still those from the new project I had just created rather than the original default libraries.

I closed TS and reopened. Now the libraries are reset to the default libraries. I switched to my new project. The libraries are still the default libraries rather than the ones associated with the new project. I exited and restarted. The new project is still open but the libraries are still the default libraries.

Am I doing something wrong or do projects no longer work the same way they did in previous versions?

Nobody else is having this problem? I'm just trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong or if there is a problem in TS.

I'm not really at the stage where I'd use them, just slowly working my way through the manual. Thanks for the warning anyway.

For me it seems that tS is getting really confused with scenes sometimes.

Whenever I start tS7, the last used scene loads automatically, wether I have autoload checked or not in preferences. Also, whenever I switch to player, I'm first seeing what I had in player the last time, instead of the actual scene. Maybe an unwanted operation? If so, it would save some serious time if only one scene has to be loaded when switching. Imagine you had 500k polys in the last scene you were using, thanks a lot  (Well, my Laptop isn't a rocket).

Today I tried loading scenes by doubleclicking them in explorer. Doesn't work of course, because autoload is always active.

Right now I see nodes from noko's club scene in the link editor, although I've created a new scene.

This scenario sounds similar to your problem bill.
