 Hey all:


I've been having trouble of late getting tS 7.6 to run under Vista 32-bit. My PC has a pair of NVIDIA 9800 GX2 Ultra display cards running in SLI mode with 182.06 drivers (the latest at the time of this writing). I have tried Run as Administrator and have run the program in compatibility mode (Win 95), and even uninstalled and reinstalled the program. None of that worked. Just for the heck of it I turned of SLI mode and tS 7.6 now starts successfully. I'll try running with SLI off and see if I'm able to keep tS running. Before, with SLI on, the program would run once and then the next time I use it, it wouldn't start.

 I don't know if you run it but there is a piece of free software to help manage nvidia config called "nhancer". Google should help you find it. I ran the Call of Duty 4 set up in non-sli, then switched to sli mode toggling the switch in nvidia control panel.


Convoluted explanation yes, but that is how it worked for me.


I run dual 8600 GT in SLi while working with TS and do not have any specific problems. However, I have read on another board, prolly SLi, that someone running the higher end boards had to revert to one generation prior drivers to stabilize their SLi config working with another 3d package...
