Hi. This is my first post. Hello to everyone.


Is it possible to assign diferent UvMapping to specific faces?


For example a car. I need to put some decals lets say on the door and the hood. How can I assign Planar coordinates to the hood and the door at the same time. Something like cubic mapping but more specific to some faces.

You can select the face in Mesh Edit mode and click the planar UV projection icon.

Setting the coordinates to tangent mode should make the mapping widget align with selected face. Just don't forget to set you coordinates back, or you'll wonder why your tools are acting different than usual. ;)
