Its not a big deal, as I usually use Wireframe, but at odd times its useful to be able to use shaded boxes

both on Vista and XP (same machine) the work area sometimes doesn't react, but i get a small area that does.. see pic below

if you switch views its sort its self out and maybe be able to rescale something.. its worse if you zoom in with the mouse wheel..

Like i said, i'm not losing sleep over it ;)

TS6.6 used to do this too. It's generally a driver issues as I don't have many problems now with it.

I keep up to date with drivers, but up to now it hasn't helped, Its a Nvidia card so i might try messing with setting, also Tom has mentioned possible issues with dual AMD cpu's and multi threading so it could be something related to that too

I just tried messing with setting and I noticed something.. if a settings window is below the navagation options, you can select directions and the work area responds, take away the setting box and it freezes lol.. if theres no ovbious answer I'll just keep a box there.. no problem in workspace.. but the lower navagation is clear
