Today i am using a laptop from DELL. DELL INSPIRION E1705 running windows xp service pak 3 with internet explorer 7. here is my concern. i did a search about TRUESPACE and noticed the free download version 7.6. so i downloaded the program and the pdf and video to my usb external harddrive. my system has 2 gigs of ram and over 256 video ram. I have plenty of ram 53.4 gigs left of space. my video card is a NVIDIA GeForce GO 7900 GS. color 32bit highest and screen resolution 1920x1200 pixels..i also have lightwave 9. lots of adobe programs photoshop etc. i also have poser 4 plus 6 and DAZ Cararra express. i always liked TRUESPACE so i ran the program from my usb hard drive to my computer,,.i noticed something strange. the entire folder of tps7.6 appeared in my C directory but not in the program files... does this mean it was an error in installing the program..i just followed the screen instructions..usually all programs or applications go to program files..truespace 7.6 went only to C folder..and appears as a folder. does this mean truespace will not work. did it not go to program files for a reason..what should i do. please advise as DELL doesnt deal with this application. by landing in the C: folder is this application going to cause problems with other programs..what should i do about the manual pdf and video sample. It should work fine with that setup. Have you tried starting it up?
