I would like to start grouping some of these scenes that I have here into smaller groupings and than load them back into the scene for final animation Is there a way to have the scenes load into the main scene in the origianl position it had when I built it?

You would have to save your objects into a library. Double clicking them from the Library will load them in the same positioned saved. You could also 3D Encapsulte several objects together as well.

Yep, save as object into your library, then double click to load rather than click and drag. The double click makes them appear in scene at the same place they were saved (drag and drop makes them appear where you drop them, naturally).

Are you saving them from inside an encapsulated object?

If so, then they lose the translation from the encapsulated group, and revert to their original position, rotation and scaling prior to having been encapsulated.
