Right now the way I am trying to use the UVE I am not able to move the vertices for the corner UV's without the opposite corner going along for the ride... what do I need to do to make the UV's move seperately?

Picture shows what I am trying to do, I need to distort the UV map in order to make the scene work.

Toolbar shows "scale" tool activated. What happens when you use simple move?

Ok, I'll take it. I set the front edge and that allows you to move the vertices around seperately, I did not see that and did not think to try it till now. A little ugly but better than what I had.

Thanks Norm.

Rich,

This happens when you select while in Mesh Edit mode. Exiting mesh edit mode will allow you to select UVs without getting their shared vertex siblings.

Also the select and move tool will let you move a single UV without exiting Mesh Edit mode.

I'm hoping that they'll be able to remove this limitation in a future version since it is very annoying and unintuitive.

LOL! I thought it was a cunning way of giving us the best of both worlds - we can move the vertex individually or together with it's mate simply by choosing to be either in or out of Mesh Edit mode! I assumed it was a deliberate innovation!!:D D'oh!
