Can anyone tell me how to get the 3D SDS Layer Spheres to move?

My problem (which I didn't have in previous versions of tS) is that when I go to edit an object with SDS layers, the layer spheres that select which level of SDS you want to edit is appearing inside the object, making it impossible to select any of them, because it can only select faces of the object...

Also, how do you change what level of SDS to edit in the workspace?

I had the same problem and Stan came up with a solution, if you left click on the sphere outside the selectionbox to turn rotary controls on/off the SDS Layer selection sphere are repositioned and are moved out of the selection cage.

After I did this the SDS Layer selection sphere appeared outside the object every time again. :)

As for the SDS level, I'm not sure but I think they scratched that in Workspace... Only method I've seen so far is to SDS the object up the SDS level you would like to work with, then delete the history of the object and it'll become a polygonal object, then you can SDS object again and work with the previously created polygonal object as the control cage.

SDS in the workspace doesn't work in the same way, so doesn't have the layers of editing like in Model side.

HTH!

Thanks! That fixed it... and good to know for the workspace side...
