As many of you will know I'm doing a bit of animation work with tS. I have a character walking up to the camera and morphs on his head to simulate speaking - everything works fine until.... I've decided the animation is too quick so I merge all the character anim tracks together so I can scale the track. This sends the morphs ballistic and the characters head turns inside out! Not a good look:D

Is this something I'm doing wrong, am I asking too much of the program to be able to scale complex animation tracks this way or is this a bug/fault/ problem with tS?

Has anyone else struck exploding morphs like this?

I don't think I've every tried to time scale a keyframed morph... :o

Could it be an issue with the keyframe FCurve interpolation when the morph keyfames were scaled? Have you checked to see what the keyframes and curves look like in the Fcurve editor?

No I've not yet looked at the FCurve editor but I suspect the interpolation too. I'll look into it further later this evening - thanks Jack.

well I still haven't checked the FCurve Editor but I have determined that I can merge all the tracks that don't contain morphs and stretch them without problems. It looks like I'll just have to redo the tracks with Morphs on (I knew it was a good idea to keep the morph tracks separate!).

At least I don't have to completely redo all the skeleton animation!:D

Hm... well the morphs are a new feature. Could be that, scaling them in the keyframe editor was a feature not thought of; I dunno. Would this be a feature request?

It's not strictly necessary I suppose but seeing as all the other types of animclips scale well it would at least be consistent.
