I have a skeleton saved as rsskel to library.

When I open it I cannot move rotate or scale it. Reason unknown.

But I have discovered that if I build a primitive cube, and then connect the worldmatrix of the cube to the owner matrix of the skeleton, it will follow move rotate scale of the cube... as expected.

The strange thing is if I immediately delete the link from the cube to the skel and delete the cube geometry.. I now have full move rotate and scale of my skeleton?

It gets me where I want to be, but I am lost as to why this solves the initial problem, even AFTER the cube and link are gone?

One good side effect of this little foray into LE is it's now dawned on me that maybe this could mean in the future I can build any shape geometry I want and use it as offset handles for controlling a rig. Pretty well like a joint constraint idea. Just gotta make the controller geometry invisible after the anim is keyframed and before it gets rendered.. If I have got the theory of this right it means I can create meaningful handles of any shape I chose, and positioned away from the Skeleton to avoid inadvertent incorrect bone or joint selection... Well thats what I am guessing?

Before you save the skeleton to the library disconect the nodes attached to it in the le, then save, then when you load it you can move it.

Cheers for that.

Still not sure why I am doing that, but I guess if it works thats a little progress.
