Having scoured the manual, and not found any reference, how do I resize an IK handle? LOL.

I look at banana man and his waist has a LARGE circle as a handle. When I chose circle as handle shape its just way too small ( like 20 times smaller than banana man). I tried clicking on the Ik handle and using sizing widget but that has no effect. Can't find anything obvious in the menus.

I'm sure the answer is staring me in the face, but can I find it...No

Cheers

I must admit that having to ask the question made me feel a bit of a dork lol, but that was actually the first thing I tried, as it made perfect sense, but strangely nothing happened. I could see the widget but dragging handles had no interaction at all.

FYI

After you kindly confirmed what I thought should have been happening, I reverted back to default settings and it DOEs now work as expected. I haven't isolated what was causing the problem, but I suspect that it was 1 of 2 things.

I had been using the Maya Nav widget, as posted some time ago ,on the forum for 7.51, maybe that had something to do with it.... or I had added into windows keys xml script the extra script lines posted a couple of days ago to enable point editing to have the same user assigned shortcuts and model editing user assigned kbd shortcuts. I see that script mod has now been withdrawn, as apparently it solved one glitch and has now been reported as adding other problems instead, what the problems it added where wasn't specified.

Am going to trying adding in kbd shortcuts and isolate whats causing the problem.

Incidently the problem vanished when I started TS with Ctrl key held... If that gives any clues as to the culprit.

Many Thanks

IK

It could also be that simply your3D Window was out of focus. Clicking at the stack, the Animation View, an LE window or even at the Object Info box steals the window focus.

you must be in ik handle mode to scale the handles. click the add ik handle icon, then select the ik handle, then use the widget to scale.
