Hello all the happy tSers out there I hope you're having as much fun as I am - have you tried the new morph tools? IMO they are utterly brilliant! (Along with all the other cool bits!).

One technical issue I've not been able to resolve - after attaching my Wizards eyes, specs, hat and head meshes to the head bone I have been unable to get rid of the edge lines.

When attaching an object to a bone these lines show up so you can see that you are selecting the right mesh - they turn green when you click on them and should disappear when you exit that tool - the hat and the glasses have worked as expected but the eyes (one object) and the head haven't as can be seen in this screengrab.

Any suggestions appreciated!

I have seen the same thing with the copy of tS I run at work during lunch, but generally not at home, so I figure it's probably a video driver issue. (Completely different hardware between work & home.) What I did notice as a work-around is that after making the attachments, if I saved the scene then either reloaded it or restarted tS completely and reloaded it -- I forget which I had to do -- it came back okay (that is, without all those lines visible). I don't quite remember whether that "always" worked or only "sometimes" worked, though. Anyway, I hope it works for you. :)

Thanks Bob - I tried there I think.... confused now!

Thanks Jim - that's something I hadn't tried - I remember having a similar issue with tS 7.5 but I found an easy method to fix it - which of course completely escapes me now!!:D

Anyway, the simple solution was to attache the head mesh using "Attach Skin To Skeleton" which, as you can see from the picture has worked fine - I probably should have done it that way from the start.

Anyway the not so happy Wizard is happy again - did I mention these morph tools are great fun? The only drawback I've discovered with them is that I keep finding I'm pulling faces at my monitor as I adjust the morph sliders!!!!

Could be that you added an object render attributes panel inside the object and had it set to show the lines...

Thanks Jack - that's actually one of the first places I looked. No problem when I added it using the Attach Skin tools - either way I'm happy.
