Ok...I would be able to get a image ready for the MMC if things would not act funny. Ok what I need to do is resize the pieces to the left and rigth of the center corner piece. Now the piece to the right will resize correctly..width wise. The left pice, which is basically the same pice with the same rotaion will not resize right. For some reason when I use the bound box to make it wider or smaller it adjust the rotataion..but the right piece works properly. I am not sure why one will resize properly and why one will not.

if it's a mirror copy of the first object wouldn't it be easier to resize first then mirror in this case..
I couldn't replicate the issue.

edit; just saw your other thread. guess it wasn't made from a copy

This is because you editing use world coordinat system.

you must switch to object coordinat system for solve your problem.

here the default hotkeys for switch between coordinat system.
Q -> for use object coordinat system.
W -> for use world coordinat system.
E -> for use screen coordinat system.

Ok, this is just a shot in the dark... if you zoom in more on the object, are you sure you're not catching one of the rotation wheels when you're trying to resize it?

The rotation wheels don't show up until you're zoomed in more.

You might want to post your scene so one of us can see what's going on.

Can you post scene capture with right obj as active selected obj. (I want to see right obj with its bounding box).

Ok here is the scn file. The green one is the one that does not want to work right. The blue one works fine. How I got the side pieces is by sweeping the edges of the red piece and boolean out the red piece..twice.

This's problem exist because your green obj's axes not paralel with green obj.

You must switch to obj coordinat system, then use axes tool for make green obj's axes rotation same with green obj rotation.

here I attached fixed screen. (remember, you need to switch to obj axes system for make it work).
