looking at all the game compatable plugin requests i think the easiest thing to do would be to create a milkshape3d plugin for TS7.6.... that one plugin would let you convert to around 30 game formats.... GS had it. that's how i convert all the game characters i make. what do you guys think?

This would be one to suggest to third party developers and let them know there is demand for it! Put the word out and see if anyone is able to undertake that work - it could be worth raising that on the Milkshape forum etc, since it wouldn't necessarily have to be a tS third party developer that could tackle such a project.

Right now we have to remain focused on the core tools, so can't look into formats and plug-ins such as this ourselves - but that's why there is scripting and why there is an SDK, so development doesn't have to wait on us and can proceed via third parties in the directions the users want!

Since GameSpace is a Caligari product (now deceased, not supported by Caligari anymore), why don't they add on its exporters to the TrueSpace product, or even sell it to current owners of TS 7 for $20.00 to $40.00.

The main thing I'm interested in are the exporters to Torque, Blitz3d, and 3D Gamestudio. Of course, Visual3d.Net wasn't out when GameSpace was sold, but if they have a exporter for that package as well, hell you would MAKE MY DAY! and I mean that in a positive light (as opposed to Dirty Harry's viewpoint)

Licensing issues make that not possible, sorry to say, as those were third party products that were incorporated into gameSpace - just so that you don't end up hoping or expecting that this will come about.

HTH,
