Okay I have Dark Basic Pro already, but I am planning on getting 3d Game Studio A7 for my birthday or Xmas.

Here's my questions:

1. Can Dark Basic Pro use the same amount of polygons and/or triangles as 3d Game Studio A7?

2. Does the amount of polygons and/or triangles a game progamming language can handle all depend on the graphics card of the user's computer?

3. I've noticed that when I model something in 3ds max, or Maya or Truespace, the polygons, triangles, and vertices are always lower in amount than the amount of edges in every model. The amount of edges seems to be higher, so should I consider how many edges my models have rather than the amount of polygons and/or triangles for my game models?

Thankyou!:)

1. I doubt it.

2. it is a contributing factor.

3.I'd worry more about verticies(each edge has2, each face has a min of 3, and they are the coordinates that hold data). the reason there are more edges is due to every quad is actually 2 tri's.
