MED Model editor can import 3ds and X format into GS A7.

Does someone know a solution to the following problem.

We need closed model meshes! (due to some shading effects that works bad on open models).

All models exported from TS are open.

If I make a mdl in MED and import it to TS, export it back, then it stays closed.

If I edit the closed model (imported from MED) in TS, it is exported open.

What about OBJ format and Blender as the converter? Blender has an MDL export script. That's at least for static stuff a cheap solution :)

Here you can find the MDL script. Scroll down to the end. http://user.schule.at/go/blender/

For animations i would wait for the FBX plugin. Or own Ultimate Unwrap and use Collada and FBX to bring the stuff into MED :)
