Hi all,
Its great too have this little forum, thanks Norm and Caligari. I dont have anything to post just now,so I thought I'd post a couple of links to modest priced game creation software.

3DRAD 6.xx Minimal coding but scripting available for advanced users.

http://www.3drad.com/

GameCore Currently in Beta supplied with some great tools scripting required

http://www2.gamecore.ca/content/gamecore/overview

FPSC A modest priced first person shooter creator theres even a FREE version.

http://www.fpscreator.com/

DBPRO Not so much a game engine but a game orientated game language in B.A.S.I.C

http://darkbasic.thegamecreators.com/

XNA Knowledge of C++ required price FREE

http://creators.xna.com

BlitzBasic Competitor to DBPRO

http://www.blitzbasic.com/

I have posted these links as possible solutions for gamers it does not mean that I know all about them or how to use models from TS76 with them, that will take a little ingenuity by
prospective users.I currently have licenses and very little time (unfortunately) for:-
3DRAD 6.xx
GameCore
FPSC
DBPRO

BTW there are probably many more solutions out there, this is by no means a complete list. :)

Just a note on XNA - C++ knowledge is not required, because the available tools are in fact based around C# :)

The link should be http://creators.xna.com that's the site for the XNA Game Studio product. Which is a C# library (not a C++ one).

DXStudio (http://www.dxstudio.com/)
RealmCrafter (http://www.realmcrafter.com/store/home.php)
Torque Game Engine (http://www.garagegames.com/)

The Extras Edition comes with less features than the Commercial and Pro Editions, but it's $100.

I use 3dgs, we also should mention "crystal space", which is better suited for games (out of the box so to speak) than ogre.

I licensed some weeks ago the S2engine. At the moment i'm in the conversation with the developers to integrate Truespace collada files, also skinned meshes. I like this engine because i don't want C/C++ and this engine has awesome DX9 lightning and material features and an easy to use editor.

The Nebula Device (http://www.nebuladevice.org/)

Should add this to the list, they about to come out with 3.0 adding in a lot of new features. 2.0 uses the full functionality of DX9 and OpenGL 2.0.

Oh yeah, and the games developed can run on Windows, Linux and XBox.

You should now also look at www.awingsoft.com . They developers seems to be interested in Truespace and developed a first TS Collada import plugin. To be honest i get very quickly walktrough results with this software.

Update: a engine for all user who dont want C/C++/C# programming and uses only scripts if you want. The integrated LUA is well implemented for things which are not clickable.
