I was wondering, being new to trueSpace is it ok to sell the models you create in TS7.6? and if so what is the best website to use for UK residents to sell their content?

I think its best to set up a paypal and or amazon account, and sell your 3d content through turbosquid or animeeple.

Just had another good look through the Turbosquid ToS and I am still concerned about the US Tax regulations with me being a UK resident. Anyone know any other good sites to sell on?

Nothing wrong with selling on TurboSquid from the UK, did that for some years. It's designed to be international. Note that wherever you sell, you will have to declare your sales to the UK tax people. You won't get taxed in the US by selling on something like TurboSquid. You may have to fill in a form that states you are not resident in the US and so are exempt from paying US taxes, but that's about it.

So, I would still say TurboSquid is the best way to go in order to get your models noticed. Other sites are much smaller, bring in much less traffic, and will be seen less.

You can try sites like Renderosity and 3D Commune if you like, but they are US based also so will likely have the same issues on tax documentation. The other alternative is to sell it directly yourself, but that takes setting up some sort of online store, and then you will have a lot less traffic than something like TurboSquid.

Given the international nature of the internet, I wouldn't fret about the US tax items for something like TurboSquid as you are likely to run into similar issues elsewhere too - you can always contact their support and talk to them about what's involved.

HTH!
