Serious Warning about 'Conficker' computer bug! // Roundtable 1  |   Order by default Post by tamtam // Mar 27, 2009, 9:50pm tamtam Total Posts: 213 Hi, i'm here to warn everyone about what I have heard about: A computer virus/worm that's supposed to be massively effecting computers without security, and certain Microsoft updates, as well as effecting USB drives. It's happening as I speak, but I haven't been affected (yet), and I hope all of you get serious virus protection for your computers if you don't already have it. Also make sure to do an update of your Microsoft software, and virus protection software if you do have those. The computer bug is called 'Conficker', and people don't know who's doing this, or what it's going to do, but what they do know is that it's going to hit computers in a lot of places in the U.S. and/or worldwide, and that it's going to hit the worst on April 1, 2009 (April Fools Day). According to Microsoft, "Microsoft works to help stop Conficker worm On February 13, 2009 Microsoft announced a $250,000 reward for Conficker arrest and conviction."
