As you can see in my graph sheet, there is a significant raise of the days between blogs. If we could calculate the next date, I would say the next blog will arrive 70 to 90 days after the last one. Maybe in the middle of April?
What else can we see?
Microsoft seems to make stress. The raise of the difference of days starts after microsoft has pocket Caligari. No more the familial feeling of a small office.
Now we see the pressure of statements of accounts in an ambience of financial meltdown. |

Tom is the new Roman..IMO, either Roman has been ASSimilated by MS or is rolling in money on beach in Acapulco with the profits from the Caligari sale to MS. The only other option as the "leader" and someone who generally makes his own schedule, he is far too busy with making things right or better or impoving tS that he has no time to stop by....this is someone(I cannot stress this enough)that sets his own schedule, for the most part. |

You ever start to wonder that Norm and Tom are doorman for a big fancy Hotel that has been abandoned?
Everybody else slipped out the back door... |

I think Norm would look snappy in one of those Bellman uniforms; complete with one of those curious, brimless, pipe-shaped hats. :D |

The natives are getting (justifiably) restless. Roman, it's time for another no-info-content posting. |

Ditto, thought wise.....I'm sure there is more to it than that though. |

Jeez ! Why is it all that important when , how often Roman posts to the forum.
Let him work and follow his ideas and let him do whatever he wants to do.
Even if he doesnt want to make 3d software any more everyone has to accept that . Same as if we would get TS8 tomorrow !
The 3d world is so large to explore and so many good things around it should keep everyone busy...Most people me included havent even explored the possibilities that TS7.6 has to offer.... How many have looked into the TS - Blender fluid sim ? how many have tested the new options with Yafary ?
Fact is there´s no news yet ... we will have to live with that |

ITs up to us what we do with the tools we were given, Can we produce the miracles (bricks without straw) is the question. How much faith do you got is what it boils down too, that and persistance matched with determination. It doesnt matter what you believe when you know. Now go render sumthin, because thats what Roman would want.!:p |

The monster(tS)has out grown the creator....when Roman is gone(that may be now ...not sure)tS will still have a feel or face, if you will. That has nothing to do with him....I worry about that feel, the one tS invented..when modeling felt more like a game than work...it was a bit tedious at times, but always fun..I miss that. Don't you? Now we are being led along by...no leader...so we wander around the forums like news zombies mumbling "news" instead of "brains", to no response....we are the unwanted children of a forgotten piece of software.....
wow less coffee for me...I just read that and am feeling lost. |

...but secretly built into the software is a time bomb just waiting to go off. It is now in place on 5 million PCs.
When it goes off all offline renderers are rendered (:D) useless.
A drawing tablet containing Version DX20 is announced. We all grab tissues to wipe away the tears when we discover our foolishness.
Roman approaches from the Mountains and kicks over the golden MODO idol we had created. We are exiled to the Caligari Forums for another 10 years with no new subscribers allowed....
we are alone... |
