THE question ot the month:

Do you remember the tutorial of my avatar?

http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=5441

It is me with about 20% Frankenstein. :D

How did you make your avatar and why did you choose it?

Great tutorial marcel !

I wanted my avatar to be a simple shape not my head because its 80 % Frankenstein and I dont want to scare you people !:D

mine was a shere type object with glass in the middle and was a Vue render that I made some time ago...I liked the cfolor and it took long to render so I made it to my avatar..

Mine is fairly self explanatory ;) Nothing there, just the cube in the signature, keeps the focus on the company and not on me as an individual.

Mine's just a shrunk down version of one of my SMC entiries from way back - didn't even win but was one of the first entries I was really pleased with, and as a bit of a musician I've kept it since... although it's probably about time I changed it anyway (even if just to make this thread look out of date if revisited in a few months...)

So far they are photographs from my hikes. Why hiking photos? Mostly that is when I take pictures. Most are parts of larger photos. Some of those are in an album in my profile.

Mine is a VRay "clay render" of a Gnomish computer WIP I was working on a while back. The lighting is using a single spot light and Global Illumination. Need to update it eventually... maybe a viperfish..., lol. :D

Mine used to be a Genhead model rendered in Vray (sunglasses, tying to look moody) but now it is my favourite page from Little Cloud. My sigs are self explanatory and blatantly promotional...;)

A couple of years ago, I found out that my liver was in dire straights. About a year and a half ago, I created this image of me to Email my family and friends to let them know I'm still going strong ! When tS 7.6 finally became Free, I decided to use it as my avatar and became Mr. 3d...or Mr. Ed (the talking horse)....(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_PZPpWTRTU&feature=related):p:)

Mine is a fluid simulation render.

I've used a barcode sometimes, just as a means of self-expression:

I kinda felt like everything around me: surroundings, had no 'character', and

the place was like a rubber stamp; it looked like everywhere else.

I need to mix it up a bit. Maybe I'll make one for OBJ importer.
