I have never seen them offered although it would be a nice gesture if they were made available at least to the purchasers of gameSpace.

With gameSpace no longer available, the videos are no longer available. (the videos would be confusing due to the interface being very different with tS7.6, and with gS having extra plug-ins etc).

(please don't delete the TS 6 videos tom. i'm sorry i spoke out);) |

Gamespace is available to those of us who purchased it and still use it,the interface doe not affect the way I use TS7.6.
Caligari/MS can try to keep channeling its users down the TS7.6 route but the purchasers of other Caligari products will obviously still use thier purchased software and why not I say. :)

I agree with JimB. I still use GS and Have both GS and TS installed.
Now whether the Videos are for old tools or new. The theory behind most 3d apps and tutorials are usually one in the same. A vert is a vert, edge is an edge and so on.. which is why even though i use GS/TS I still refer to tutorials that are writen for other applications as well such as 3d studio max and maya. Completely different applications, but more or less the theories are the same between them. |

3DBuzz had a very good GameSpace training video. Dunno if it's still available, though. |

I wouldn't mind seeing them, if for nothing else other than the historical context...... |

Sorry all, but all applications other than tS7.6 are no longer supported. This includes manuals, plug-ins, videos, etc.

I never purchased GameSpace, but it seems to me that the proper thing to do would to have an archive repository on a youtube account. |

 Ummmm???? I'm sorry, Did I and others not mention that we still use the OLDER software?? If Caligari does not want to release these videos because of the "NO LONGER SUPPORTED" scenerio. Then why have all the older TS6 videos still. Personally I don't care if they released them or not. But really... What does a Video have to do With support? When Im not watching them just to FOLLOW ALONG. But rather to learn its theory of design or how a model is created, that today is still being used.
And NOT SUPPORTED? The way I see it, Until Caligari completes the transition from the old Interface to the new and the Truespace6.6 side of things are completely removed. Many of these features ARE infact still supported. And not to mention that many of these people will probably long after the transition still use older versions of truespace just to have these video/plugins. I did a general search and was blown away by the amount of plugins for truespace are out there.
After all it is already clear to me that many of these people just don't care to move on to the new interface. Myself I'm happy either way cause I know that even when they do complete the transition, I still have a backup of the old and will continue to use them just because of these plugins.
Personally as I said I could care less. I just think your answer is just a funny way of looking at things. |
