Good read (if a little thin) this month: Character Workshop special. CD: Nothing special, quite a few files in 3DS Max format and some sound samples and textures. Contents: News of 3D Coat 3.0, Lightwave's new core, particle tricks in blender, the making of Coraline, 20 PRO compositing tips, how to make the perfect pitch. A few good features and the main feature uses Cinema 4D. There is a good Q+A featuring tS (model side) and a review of Carrara 7 Pro which, annoyingly, has tablet input for 3D painting (an upgrade for me then?). Plenty to read this month and good if you are in to character modelling and texturing. Next month: Aliens and Monsters (the movie I think!)
