Strange one maybe, but you are a resourceful bunch. I made (adapted) an interactive piano for Buddy World in flash but it is only one octave and I made it two octaves.
However, it only comes with note samples for one octave, a piano sound. Now I could fire up my own keyboard and sample each individual note but...
Does anyone have, or know where to get, individual note samples for two octaves of a piano?
Told you it was strange...:p |

Honestly, I don't want to put any one out, especially as it makes me look even lazier for not doing it myself...:o
Just thought someone might have a set of multisamples. Yes, it is C to C (two octaves). They are in .wav format in the flash file. I can get samples but they are only every few notes not the chromatic scale I need.
Existing file is attached if it helps. |

sorry splinters...that don't download properly, so I went by the seat of my pants. I've given you some long notes, so you can shorten them as needed...albeit somewhat tedious if i got it wrong.
Did I mention that Cubase is an amazing program?
Incidentally Splinters what you're doing for buddy world with the keyboard and all, a teacher in the sound dept in college is trying the same thing, except with a full ranged piano, I might be able to recycle the sounds so its no big problem ;)
I hope I've got these right, apologies for doing it this way but the forums just take forever

And lastly, I just thought I'd like to show you the joys of uploading to mediafire. According to this I might be uploading it for a while :( |

Cheers guys, alas my Flash skills fail me here. If I post the flash file, is anyone able and (very kindly) willing to fix it up a bit? Can't be too much but I can't get the second octave to play right. |

Sadly I don't have Flash (or know how to use it)
But I'm guessing you've made the keys as buttons, and set the different sounds to play when those buttons are pressed? And for the second octave you've copied the buttons? If thats the case you might want to try making new buttons, it might be long winded, but thats the only thing I can think of at the moment that might be a solution? |

Here's the file if anyone wants to have a go....:D
I need to copy the keys to get it to work but I am stumped on how to assign the new (extra) notes (.wav's)....
Seems to only accept the existing samples but I can see no link or action to edit. |
