I found this prog while surfing for mesh painting stuff, the products web page does'nt look much but I downloaded the demo (30 day trial) and after ignoring the interface artwork it is a pretty decent app,I recommend downloading and having a look http://www.futurepaint3d.com/


Its possible by the look of it to import a model unwrap it and paint it using colours and textures without the need to use either an unwrapping tool or paint package at $50 it looks worth a punt ,as I said earlier try to ignore the GUI. :D

Well, the cost is having to do it using Blender. Have you used both?

If you are asking me, no. I'm just putting the word out there, like a Jehovah's witness, but for blender.....I start knocking on doors tomorrow.

That's cool. I haven't touched Blender's paint tools yet, I'll make sure and have a look.
