Iam having better success with the Truespace 7.6 Daz ANIMATE and VOODOO or Syntheyes pipeline. It is so awesome to take your video camera outside and shoot some footage (or get free footage off the web) then throw your Truespace work in that video footage. Dont have to model anything! Couple little tips ...

1. When you import your work from the match moving software Voodoo or Syntheyes in to Truespace make sure you put your character(s) directly on the imported plane. Then any sliding of your character(s) will not be an issue.

2. Shadows add the ultimate to your match moving scene. That is done by using an alpha channel to project your shadow on to a plane then add that to your scene using compositing software.

3. Here is a quick test I just did. Shadow looks pretty good I think and character sliding is almost nothing (little unwanted motion I need to clean up in Daz Animte) as I placed character directly on the plane.

here is a camera matching tutorial I did with Syntheyes (the free voodoo software is similar as it exports a python script like syntheyes does) and Truespace about a year ago ...

Love to see Truespace users getting in to this. It is a blast!
