Hi all,
I made a model airplane just to test in a project I thought I'd make it available here as well, its a model of a Dewoitine 780 float plane why a Dewoitine?... well I'd not modeled one before. :)
The uv map is very quick and dirty I'm afraid ... well I was in a hurry :D

You should post a thread in the Garage so that it doesn't get lost. |

THANKS AGAIN !!!
I had always thought about getting a seaplane one day !....I'm sure keeping the salt water off of it would be a constant hassle though. |

Cool model and interesting aircraft - body looks quite Spitfire-like....
There's also a thread somewhere called 'free objects here' or something like that; I'll see if I can find the link but Kena or Prodigy could probably find it faster as they've contributed several times... |

Could also place free objects on TurboSquid, which would make them easy to find for those who don't frequent the forums (or who use other apps - since tS is free, if they find just the model they want in RsObj, not hard for them to just grab tS to convert it to the format they need for the package of their choice).
It's also then searchable by tags (vehicle, aircraft) while it is very hard to search the forum to find objects.
HTH!

"Isn't this where Tom comes in and mentions an octopus or a squid?..."
Well predicted Stenie, but Tom doesn't acknowledge your subtle hint, maybe he missed it:D
And thanks for your generosity Jim... |
