Help! my password for the image contest is not working :(

Hi there :) im in a serious problem :( I was going to submit some pics to the image contest but there seems to be something wrong with my password... and there is no "forgot your password?" link... what can I do?? :confused:
I'd really appreciate any help.

It is now past the deadline ( assuming they use My time and not Caligari time) so I would send an email to Norm.
Anything you submit now will be for next month.
Have you submitted to the Gallery before? If not then create a new account.
or
Use the same password you used to download this software.
Edit: reminder to self...there are 31 days in Jan...dohhhh |

Yes, I've submitted before and never had this problem. And the password for the forums does not work niether. |

No the deadline isn't over yet. I just logged in so it does still work.

are you using the same login as you do when you go to the Checkout? That is the ID and password they are looking for, not your Forum username and password. |

sorry... I just went to login, and it had me put in my E-mail address and password, not my login id and password.
But you say that you have gotten in before with no problems, so I'm sure you've done that. Try PMing Norm about it. |

Thnx Everyone:o I could not make it in time and Norm has not answered me yet. I'll have to wait 'till next month... well, this will allow me to keep tuning up the image a bit more ^_^ (Still, it would be a good idea to add a "forgot your password?" link in the image contest section)

Hi all,
The gallery password system works in such a way that it is not possible to have it send out or reset a forgotten password. Note that it does not use the same password as your customer account login for downloads etc, at least not automatically - you set up a different and unique login for the gallery submissions process that is entirely separated from your customer account, so whether it is the same password or not depends on whether you choose to reuse the password (generally it is recommended for security *not* to use your customer account password except for your customer account).
Note that submissions do not cut off at the deadline - you can submit at 11.59pm and it will be counted for one month, and at 12.01am and it will be counted automatically for the next month. The system never closes for entries :)
If you cannot recall your password (and the system cannot change it in any way, so it can't have changed), then the only solution is to register a new login for the gallery with a new email address.
