First post on the new forum.
Been playing around with a cityscape recently. Just at the stage of getting some basic building shapes to develop further with more details and better textures. A long way to go, and this will probably be on the back burner for a while. |

thanks all.
posting a hidden line wire. all sorts of basic primatives etc, nothing fancy. I want this to evolve over the coming weeks to incorporate a lot of detail in the buildings, especially at the waterfront level to increase realism. not going for an overtly science fiction look, just a little advance on current shapes and scale of building.

It almost looks like a CG set for a movie; good work!

Very nice! I like the sunset lighting and I very much like the suspension bridge design. Perhaps some older style, smaller buildings at the waterfront to suggest scale and maybe a passing helicopter or jet... ignore me though, I'm just a sci-fi freek!
Good work - please keep us updated:) |

I'll certainly add some vehicle, flying and otherwise, to busy it up a bit. Affirmative with the older buildings Stephen, and perhaps a few boats.
