I have a basic membership over at CGtalk;

I was wondering, are there any real advantages to getting the full membership (I already have Shade 7LE which they give free to members). I realise you can have unlimited images but you can submit an image and if it is chosen, viewers can see your 5 best images in the portfolio then visit your website.

Anyone got full membership and found it beneficial?

I am trying a little self promotion and to get tS7 on more sites...:)

I haven't joined yet, but I probably will in the next month or so. Many of the people I have had conversations about CGSociety tend to join for the talking and exchanging dialog like other people in the industry. I used to be a member of the Pixel Corps (PixelCorps.com) and a large number of their membership are members of the CGSociety. You'll find tutorials on different techniques, and conversations on different industry goings on... 30.00 per year is not very much money. In the end, it will be more what you put into it which determines what you will get out of it.

Good luck.
