Anyone else notice how the Caligari forum site looks like the Newtek forum site?

I don't get your point? Are you happy both sites look the same, that your getting new software or that you are possibly leaving? What does that have to do with TrueSpace? I'm glad you're happy but share it with them. |

I don't quite see the relevance - there are a hundred, or a thousand, sites out there that "look the same" because they all use VBulletin software, and those sites range from cooking to needlepoint to graphics to cars to whatever!
No company makes their own bulletin board software, they just buy a license from a specialist company and use their software - and then the site "looks the same" as others using the same software. You can customise things like color scheme etc, but icons and things remain the same.
We have been using this on gS for about a year or two now - does this mean that Newtek are copying us? :)
Anyway, unless the use of the same bulletin software on different sites is in some way considered a conspiracy, then I don't get the relevance of the post :)

Seriously, I am glad you are happy with your new software but why not make yourself heard over on the Newtek forum rather than telling everyone here how great LW is?
I think you may underestimate the forum users here. I am sure they are aware of the 'competition' out there and are free to move on elsewhere. If they are reading these forums they must still be interested in TS. |

I agree with you about vBulletin and it's benefits for us. But then you bring up the "Other Program" at this forum.
It's almost like a Girl Scout going to a Boy Scout meeting....ehhrrrrrrrgggg, bad example.... |
