Hi,

I have thrown together a resource site for TS users to upload their various bits and bobs - materials, meshes, Code, tutorials, images whatever in an effort to provide a cohesive resource for TS and what I believe will be its bright future (especially with the response we are seing here in the forums from the management regarding the interface and animation :-)

Anyhow - www.truespacelibrary.com is the site name and I need a few folk to test it for me before it becomes generally available.

If interested it will be probably only about 10-15 minutes of time, and would help if you have a file to share, PM me and I'll get you a logon. This is limited to registered Forum users at the moment.

A great idea. This might be very useful for new users (and veterans as well). It would be great to have some sort of preview for images.

Keep it up.

Would you like any legacy stuff as well? I'm considering release of the source code I used for my chromacolor (dispersion glass) shader. It was designed to work with TS6.6 but appears to work with TS7 and lightworks too.

It's a bit slow render-wise but it does well to get prism rainbow effects where other shaders fall a bit short. Someone could likely improve it to do better as it seems to only work well with multithreading turned off.

P.K.

Hi Professor.. Would love to have yo uinclude your shader.. I have included a drop down (when you are adding content) with version numbers, and can add more.... I currently have 6.6 and 7 there.. Its really up to you folks what you want to put up there as long as I dont run out of space/bandwidth!!

I only have "ts 7.1" in the site header as I thought it nice to have the new branding (and because I was being lazy :-) - I think v7 is really the beginnings of something quite special, although I also believe it will probably not work how I want it to until version 8! :-)

Hi Vizu, I hear you - I have a lot of inconsistencies while working in TS that drive me nuts - sometimes it works, sometimes not, etc.. where did that render menu go.. and so on.. Feel free to join anytime..

xmanflash: It's looking pretty good. Can I upload .RsScn and .RsObj files? If you make a space for scripts I'll upload all of the ones I've made so far. :)

Hi Dele,

Absolutely.. I'll register you and you'll get an email with your access details, and when you go to add a file, it gives you many more filetype options than are contained in the test files I uploaded - the dropdown currently only shows the available filetypes, not all possible one.. which I will admit is a little confusing at the moment....

Would love to have your code bit added.. And some feedback from anyone regarding a better interface! (I will revisit it when function is finished)..
