I have seen a lot of questions go around as far as the purpose and running of AWDebate, I decided to let you guys know what we're
doing. AWDebate is a citizen ran world which will be open all the time (except for private meetings) and will have scheduled weekly
debates. There is a bot which will remain there throughout the time the world is open and will take suggestions on what topics to
discuss. Just before the debates begin the world will close for a couple minutes, during this time I will review the topics that
people have suggested, then remove them so people can give ideas for the next weeks debate. The topic that comes up the most will
be debated on during that session. If we come to a majority agreement then we will move on to the second most suggested topic will
be discussed, time permitting. Many AWC Employees have shown much interest in attending these debates. The debates will hopefully
be scheduled at a decent time where they can attend. If no AWC employees (or ones of power) were able to attend, then afterwards
the bot will randomly select 5 of the attendees. The world will be closed with enter rights given to these 5 people and myself. We
will discuss the ideas that we thought came up most often throughout the debates. To maintain fairness each of us will send the
staff personalized letters containing the ideas we noticed the most. Also to maintain fairness people who have been chosen before
can not be chosen again. I feel that doing this will help maintain fairness and get EVERY person an oppertunity to relay the
information they got out of the debate, therefor we don't have to worry about it being biased or just a few people that I selected,
therefor making it seem as though I am pushing my own agenda. I feel this world and program is a huge step forward for the
community being able to get their views across to other citizens and the staff of AWC. Hopefull this will provide everyone an
opportunity to discuss their ideas, and brainstorm, organize their thoughts in what are our realistic goals. Perhaps we will have
an extra monthly or bi-monthly debate where we can re-evaluate our goals, as a commmunity. I would like to open up AWDebate as a
community resource for anyone, 24 hours a day. It is my deepest hope that together we can make AW a better place, that we can make
it the glorious utopia it once was. I remember a time when E N Z O could be spoken to freely in COFMeta, now it seems if he is
online you can never get a word in, I hope to see that change. My main goal for this world is to be able to let the community have
more of an imput, and a more organized voice. Just like the citizen's union, my goal is to unite the community and let us organize
our power. To change the one flaw I see in the community - the lack of unity, how people just stand around and yell requests
individually, I think unification of our voice will be much better heard. Please tell me your ideas and concerns for this world
and, well anything for that matter, I'll defineteley keep you updated. If you are wondering when the world is to open... I honestly
don't know.. We built the first large part of the world in a couple days.. but the last bits seem to be taking ages to complete,
however I believe the world will be opened before too long.
