My small vocabulary? Great, the "biggest" words you've used is "invest" and
"enrich". I have a very good vocabulary, but why waste my time to type them, then explain them to the juveniles who infest this place. [View Quote] moff piettMay 16, 2001, 6:30pm
Mak.. just stop. You said something stupid, were proved wrong, the word
exists. A thread with this many posts about if laboured is a word or not is quite silly. You lost, move on, lest you make Moria actualy angry. chucks partyMay 16, 2001, 7:13pm
Makavelli the only one being jeuvenile here is you. You can't admit you were
wrong. A mature person can admit when they are wrong and that is not you. Cut the crap and stop trying to correct something that doesn't need correcting. Read all the posts you want but you are going to have to accept the fact that we are not perfect and neither are you, so stop trying to act like you are. People are entitled to make mistakes and we don't need someone like you to correct us when you can't even admit you were wrong and move on yourself. 8-) moriaMay 16, 2001, 8:24pm

Yes mak you are wondering why I keep my replies to you so simple but the
rest of the group isn't :) If you had a good vocabulary you would have understood the verb labour, if you had much concept of grammar you would have been able to conjugate it and arrived at the past tense laboured. If you had an researching skills you should have managed to find 'labored' in your dictionary after I had highlighted it for you. As you kindly verified, you looked in the dictionary AFTER I had given you the American spelling. (Tony M please note) "biggest" words is plural by the way so the verb should have been "are" not "is" but your grammatical errors are now legendary. Biggest is also a childish way of describing word length. Which brings me on to your counting skills. You say the "biggest" words I used are invest and enriched and I admit I kept the syllable count down so as not to tax your intellect. However grammatical has 11 letters but I realise that would have meant removal of your socks for you to be able to count them. I spend much of my time teaching juveniles the wonders of the English language many regarded as mentally challenged. Surprisingly they seem to learn much faster than you. I've found age to be no barrier either many young people are quite able to hold intelligent stimulating conversations. If this group is infested with ignorant juveniles, why have they not joined this thread asking for an explanation? There are none so ignorant as those that refuse to learn. [View Quote] |
