To elaborate slightly and remove the simpleness from Holistic's response ;-) Look at it as
destruction of property. You don't actually own the AW browser, but AWCI allows anyone who wants to
to use it. (Microsoft, for example, however, only allows people who pay them to use the software.)
Since AW owns it, changing it is like purposely wrecking a car which you borrowed from someone.
