Surfing around I came upon a OpenGL 3D browser that looks like it is going
to be set up like AW..it allows you to have your own "world"but entirely on
a website(no servers!!)looks interesting but performed a little slow on my
machine, this may be the best competition I have seen yet for AW.I still like
AW better than all that was before..but....OpenGL?...we'll see.

And AW beats them.
Here's why: It has slow turning, ugh! Also AW seems to go smoooooooooother
for me than what theirs does.
lol

I have tried it 3 times now and it is getting faster each time,I returned my
resolution to 800x600 from 1024 and d/l'ed the newest drivers for my
Voodoo3,all of which makes a BIG difference.
I have always been curious about OpenGL,but there was not alot out there to
goof around with.
dennis13,sorry didn't mean to rattle any bones,I just thought it was
interesting since AW has had no "real" competition.

At the last Tech Talk, Roland specifically brought up the subject of Open
GL.

He said that the powers that be have slated the next program upgrade will be
to introduce OpenGL. That is after the release of the version he is
currently working on.
