Not posting in HTML helps, too. But, really, just up the allowed message length and don't send full headers in your "moderation" filter, eh? Who is this posting anyway? Don't hide behind the generic "Activeworlds.com, Inc." label!

Sorry, but you don't need to read the posts to know that they're huge.
If the moderator sees that there are a bunch of 20K posts going through the system, he/she can safely assume that people are not snipping posts properly. Either that, or they quickly skim every post and see tons of > markers. Either way, it's a shallow attempt to make it look like they're paying attention. Why does this entity called "ActiveWorlds.com, Inc" have to post these things? Why can't Cryonics, ENZO, or even Lucrezia post it? Might actually make it a bit more believable! According to my newsreader, (Netscape Newsgroup *points and laughs at
all the Outlook suckers*) it's an invalid signature. He's trying to sign his post with a certificate that claims to come from "Agent1 at my.activeworlds.com" when it really comes from "anbugera at home.com". The reason it gives you an security error is that this could be interpreted as being forgery. But I'm guessing Agent won an activeworlds.com email address at Bingo or sumfin and now it's screwing up on him. Yet another victim, eh? :) [View Quote] -- Goober King Certified Mental Case rar1 at acsu.buffalo.edu chris waddellJul 22, 2000, 4:09am

First of all, nobody upstairs ever pays attention to the Newsgroups, so
I seriously doubt I'm bothering them at all. Therein lies part of the problem. Second of all, you're damn right they've got work to do, a lot of it. And I'm not talking about just 3.0 Beta. Considering that their stock is currently a hair's breadth away from dropping off of NASDAQ, I'm seriously starting to think AW is on it's way out. That's why we need to do all we can to get it back on it's feet, since it's obvious the fools in charge have no clue how to do it. And thirdly, I know for a fact that you post in these NGs quite often, so don't go throwing stones, my friend...
