Hi all,

a few months ago, Billybob wrote a xelagot script for an RPG game. This
script is very well written (at least, for a first go at scripting, it is
excellent), but has some fundamental flaws which were not fixed. He never
finished writing it. People keep sending me this script saying 'I wrote
this but it's not working', or 'can you fix this RPG script?'... I
received this script by email some 5 times in the past month.

My reply to all: no, I can not fix this script. The biggest problem is in
the Sub Battle (the rest I have fixed). This sub will never work the way it
is written, and it is the heart of the game. It is not clear what the author
wanted to achieve here, so I can not make anything out of it: it loops back
and forth, falls through loops and labels... this is the state a script has
when the author has not yet figured out his code and is experimenting.

So, to all: please stop sending me this script to fix :)
