i myself have only been around the news groups for a few weeks....didn't get
a cit util feb 26 of this year, but i had been using aw for well over a year before that. i notice, where ever you go...there's this one small pain in the butt named eep... eep...have you ever LOOKED at your webpages...? they just...plain...exscuse the language, suck. you cut other's down 24/7, i was at awgate the other day and there was a bunch of people talking about how much of a asshole you are. you're webpages are ugly, i mean...come on...gradients on gradients...? jeesh...oogly even...oh and btw, where exactly did you get your samples for your tutorials on rwx modeling...? perhaps a Mr. Tony Polichroniadis? just wondering...it's kinda commented out on your links page...hmm...maybe this will work...i dunno if html is hidden on the ngs...: <!--<li>Tony Polichroniadis' <a href=http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/users/tpp21/wipEup/ target=_top>wipEup</a>: some RWXs from it are here--> it's there...you might change it...but...i was wondering why it's commented out... i had a lot i wanted to say...but...i'll shorten this up a tad: eep, stop acting like a child,\ (he'll say i'm the child...he can come up with new things to say to people...) you want people to this and that, why don't you do it? want people to work together, get it started, stop whining to the programmers, unless you happen to be a programmer and are some great and mighty one at that. we don't care if you filter us out, either. it's more your loss than ours... hmm...if eep actually reads this...he'll go ballistic...this should be fun... note: sorry if i offend anyone besides me...i'm just tired of the mofo.... alphacentuariMay 22, 2000, 11:16pm
warrmp3, as Nornny had said in the "Be loyal to Activeworlds, Don't listen
to Eep!" string, it is always good to have an Eep or two around, to keep us on our toes. Eep i know may sound childish at times, and mabey even the tinyest bit irritating, but thats Eep. AlphaCentuari [View Quote] =?iso-8859-1?q?eep=b2?=May 23, 2000, 2:02am

Ugliness is relative. What's ugly to you may not be to someone else. And where are YOUR webpages, hmm? I'll critique them for you if you like. ;) > oh and btw, where exactly did you get your samples for > your tutorials on rwx modeling...? perhaps a Mr. Tony Polichroniadis? just > wondering...it's kinda commented out on your links page...hmm...maybe this > will work...i dunno if html is hidden on the ngs...: > <!--<li>Tony Polichroniadis' <a > href=http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/users/tpp21/wipEup/ target=_top>wipEup</a>: > some RWXs from it are here--> > > it's there...you might change it...but...i was wondering why it's commented > out... Uh, did you try to GO to it? It's a dead link, so I simply commented it out temporarily, thinking it might come back up later. <shrug> Sue me. And, no, Tony has no RWX tutorials. Hell, I had to bug him to get Modeler released way back whenever. Might help to read more carefully and get informed before making yourself look like an ass, eh? > i had a lot i wanted to say...but...i'll shorten this up a tad: > > eep, stop acting like a child,\ (he'll say i'm the child...he can come up > with new things to say to people...) you want people to this and that, why > don't you do it? want people to work together, get it started, stop whining > to the programmers, unless you happen to be a programmer and are some great > and mighty one at that. we don't care if you filter us out, either. it's > more your loss than ours... > > hmm...if eep actually reads this...he'll go ballistic...this should be > fun... > note: sorry if i offend anyone besides me...i'm just tired of the mofo.... <yawn> You try too hard, sport. Um, I have. It would appear some people in these newsgroups need to learn to read more carefully...

Exactly where is the ballistic part of Eep's reply? Why post something just
to stir the pot, warmp3? Eep's page is generally acknowledged to be a valuable AW resource. So yeah.... Drive through. :) [View Quote] fyreneMay 23, 2000, 7:22pm
Actually, I find it quite entertaining at times. Eep used to slam people for
emoticons. As you can see lately, Eep is emoting :) I just bring a bag of popcorn and a hotdog and enjoy. Ummmm. Anyone got grey_poupon.rwx?? ;) Fyrene <snip> nornnyMay 24, 2000, 12:19am
I can agree with this also. :) Although it's a bit off the topic, when
there's nothing going on in AW, there's nothing better than to go to the newsgroup and get some juicy fights. :) lol, jk, but true. Some people I know won't agree with me and do think things like this should be taken in private and I can understand also. But when you have the great Eep, who can back up ANY of his actions, and then a recent poster looking for fame, noteriety, and temporary attention by posting, but their one or two flukes cost them a turnaround of the newsgroup against them. :) If anything, it's a fun pshycology class. :) Nornny [View Quote] =?iso-8859-1?q?eep=b2?=May 24, 2000, 12:19am
I still "slam" people who ABUSE smileys...<cough>AlphaBit<cough>...but I've always used them sparingly. <shrug>

You know eep, "..." are a waste of valuable cell space and that's not very
"efficient", one of your favorite words. [View Quote] =?iso-8859-1?q?eep=b2?=May 25, 2000, 4:26pm
<blink> Gee, is this AW or just its newsgroups? Think, champ, THINK. Drive through...

As I've said before, I often find Eep's rants entertaining. (and even
educational at some points *gasp*) I do think he needs to get some new material, tho. I mean, "champ"? "Drive through"? That's so 1.0 *smirk* -- Goober King He's the one mumbling in the corner... http://lavender.fortunecity.com/heat/318/index.html nornnyMay 25, 2000, 10:50pm
Hey, everyone has got to have its trademark. :) Re-inventing yourself may
work for Madonna, but it might not work for Eep. :) Nornny [View Quote] just inMay 25, 2000, 10:50pm
OMG I'm sinking to the depths of replying to pointless threads! Forgive me
but I just couldn't resist *evil grin* For all the uninformed, Eep is actually the Building Inspector let lose by AWCI. You remember the BI... he's the one that ya hate so much, but if he weren't there everything would be such a mess no-one could live! Why reinvent the wheel? ;P

Because it loses it's effectiveness after a while... You keep saying
"sport" and "champ" enough and eventually people are just going to say "oh, that's just Eep" and prolly won't take you seriously, which is, I'm assuming, what you would like to happen. It's like a person who uses the F-word constantly. After a while, it just becomes redundant and people start ignoring you... Oh well, keep them driving on through, Eep. :) -- Goober King Would like fries with that before he goes... http://lavender.fortunecity.com/heat/318/index.html =?iso-8859-1?q?eep=b2?=May 30, 2000, 11:29am

As for the more evolved people who happen to read my insults against twits, well, the insults aren't directed at them anyway so they should just simply tune it out and move on. While my insults may not be effective to people who already know them, they ARE effective on people who've never encountered them before. Good ol' evolution...
