Page faults usually involve the Win Swap file. If it's not set to a fixed
size, I would do so. Delete all unnecessary files, defrag and then you
should have a large contiguous area on your HD for a fixed-size swap file.
Another possible cause of your crash is a corrupt AW data file. Delete the
cache and reload.

[View Quote] Sometimes this can be because of a bug that 3.4 has with some gestures,
so taking avatar animations off from Settings in Options menu might help,
unless you have already done so?

There is also a general crash problem which I (and many others)
experience all the time, no matter whether other avatars are present or
not. This type of crash also results in a page fault error.

Guess it might help to know what you have going on in the background and
what OS you're using as well. And since RW_D3D8.DLL is obviously AW's DLL
for using DirectX8, try setting your graphics to OpenGL until you get this
resolved. That way you get rid of that stupid light limit too (although at
least on some ATI cards you get more z-buffering and tiny graphics
glitches).
