Curious about BingoBots (General Discussion)
Curious about BingoBots // General DiscussionmrbruceJul 12, 2003, 12:31am
Just curious why a Bingobot is such a great kept secret in AW. Those that do
have one wont share it for NO amount of money. Those that claim to have made Bingobots are nothing but scams or programs that do not work at all (like a car without an engine) This has made me wonder, is "world popularity" more important to people, then a large sum of cash in thier pockets? Just curious, because several times I was asking for a Bingobot with several hundred dollars cash in my hand and was declined every offer I made. What ever happened to the old saying money talks bull**** walks? MrBruce themaskJul 12, 2003, 12:54am
Well Bruce, there is a bingobot that you could possibly buy but under some
conditions, Andor has one and has given one to each universe and i think they were bought. You can contact the wife's owner, Xena, but the owner and programmer himself is very busy on the sea. Though the people who make bingobots surely wont give it out is that because they dont want it to so spread like Paintball, overused, and died.. Also the BillyRPGBot.. that was also Overused..But if its payed, yes the number of people begging for it will increasingly go down. A Bingobot isnt easy, its hard to get it to loop and do everything else on the cards and etc.. mrbruceJul 12, 2003, 1:10am
Nope sorry already talked with Xena over a year ago and she declined to sell
it. Oh well so much for bots..... and your right about bots being over used, thats why te only bots we have are found to be boring everyone else has 3 or 4. C++ is way out of my league and Im not paying $3000.00 for a programmer to make me my own bot, just to spend more money on prizes! I guess we can just forget it! ; / [View Quote] themaskJul 12, 2003, 3:25am
though John release a rough version of a bingobot, you could lookinto it to
revamp it and etc. mrbruceJul 12, 2003, 3:44am
No one wants to mess with John's bot, not sure why. Dont look at me, like I
said C++ and VB are out of my league, I'm having hard enough time learning Truespace. Seems alot of people in aw are stingy and or lazy (which ever comes first). I was basically asking why a person is turned down who is waving mininum of $200.00 in their hand, but bots are donated to other universes. Hmmm maybe I should buy a universe..LOL (NOT!!!!) /start
/stop /loadgame [gamename] /playinfo /won /cards (toggle) /prizes (set on signs with create name prize1,prize2 and prize3) /bingo /abandon /resetscores (sets everybody's scores to 0 wins) /resetcards (resets all) /clearcards (resets all names on cards too) /scores (current scores) /called (obvious) /call (call a number) /autocall [seconds] (seconds not required - this enables autocall) ~John all of the above can be worked without / [View Quote] strike rapierJul 12, 2003, 1:43pm
Its plainly because we would rather have everyone playing, under 1 roof to
bring the community together for such activities... ok? - Mark [View Quote] themaskJul 12, 2003, 4:41pm
Yeeeep... Heck, Now since AW lost lots of users, it seems people are cranky,
and less helpful. I even know myself, that I don't like newbies.. Don't know why, but just got tired of it. But i live.. heh mrbruceJul 12, 2003, 4:51pm
Sounds Ok to me. I was interested in making my world a little more "less
boring". Like I said, sadly all the bots we've had access to are used everywhere. Example: I've been hosting ultimate paintball for 2 weeks now and the score has been the same since day 1. Why? Because there has to be at least 30 worlds or more set up as a paintball worlds (No offense Brant) it's a great bot and game, but again everyone has one. I was looking for a few bots that were custom to my community alone, something new, something different. Bots are cool, they allow the world owner to run games and events with out having to do anything but double click the .exe icon and the rest is done automatically. And it was suggested by others that Bingo would be a cool pass-time and a great way to give out prizes, as long as the game was cheat proof and honest! My problem is I cant take the time to learn the programing code or even understand it, to make my own. For those that can, I want you to know....you guys/gals are super and very talented!!! Yep, very true. That's why it's been rough for me to revive WAR, with such
little help and small ideas. |
