Hi all.
Many that know me are fully aware of my stand against spamming and the
possible harvesting of email addresses from many sources, including
newgroups available on the Internet.

Although I would not normally publicise any software thats costs anybody any
hard earned money I have came across one that is peer to peer orgainised.
This means that everyone running the software helps each other to share
information about spammers and stop spam reaching your email accounts.

I use SpamCop (http://spamcop.net/ ) to report my average of 10 spams per day; it sure cuts down on the time I used to spend tracerouting spam headers (which I still have to do when SpamCop refuses to send to an email address that doesn't like its reports or something).

Yeah, but it also makes sending e-mail to u hell, ive never managed to get 1 though yet.

Huh? It doesn't affect email to me since it doesn't filter anything. <shrug>
