There's an ASCII directory at AW 2046s 3731e 270. You can also just use
your computer character map but I think the directory displays it better =)

then it might not be valid... if you write: copywrite 2001 Myname Mysurname
it won't be a valid copyright notice...

for your information anything is copyrighted even if you dont put that
there...if you create something its protected under law no matter if you put
that or not.

yes, but in a court case you'll have less to go on if someone claims they
made it first and that you stole their intelectual property... and it
doesn't look good...

Now you know why I keep kah blocked, like DUH, lol But as far as a court of law
goes, it makes it alot easier if you have your works registered with the
Government, especially when you are talking about a business or company, then it
makes it easier to win a court battle, but everything that's made by you is
instantly copyrighted, it's up to you to prove it is an original tho and is why
people will put © or the entire word copyright on their works, it then actually
shows that the person wants the copyright to be in effect.

you're not getting on with your life, you just posted this...

PS. I think spelling is important if you want to be taken seriously, wich is
why I pointed it out... but obviously nobody seems to care about being taken
as a serious person, so I'll just let you be unserious...

I care about being serious. =) I also agree with what KAH said. Once
something is in a "tangible form," it is automatically copyrighted under
US copyright law. However, if you are going to take the time to add a
copyright notice to your work, why not at least take the time to make
sure it is in the proper format and have it spelled correctly? It is
"copyright" and not "copywrite." Copywriter is a word, but copywrite is
not. If Brandon doesn't want a judge to take him seriously if someone
infringes upon his copyright and he decides to take the matter to court,
that is his decision. If he doesn't want to take it to court, that is
also his decision. Just because you put a simple © symbol or Copyright
John Smith 2001 doesn't guarantee that people will not steal your work.
And FYI, "(C)" is not a valid symbol for a copyright notice. Heck, look
at Napster, Gnutella, Morpheus, and the other peer-to-peer file sharing
programs. How many of you out there actually look at the copyright
notice on CD's (actually, I think they are P's with a circle around them
because they have to do with audio)? ;) Now can we please just move on
and quit quarreling over this?

Everytime i make some comment that i know will appear in some way in
some newspaper print... Even if it is a long reply to some question
like why is the earth round... I allways incluse my notice that the
article may be used and edited to suit. I hand over my COPYRIGHTED
ARTICLE It just helps the newspaper from giving you a call later to get
your permission if they can use what you wrote. So i allways give my
permission statement and my electronic signature [name] and date and
time and my address and phone... All the required info that need is
there. And i'm not affraid to let them use my name.
