Thats correct - this actually has nothing at all to do with our software,
the portion that is used for that is a microsoft dll, the richedit one,
which is actually buggy - sometimes it helps if it gets updated, but it
doesnt always rectify the problem.
So, not much we can actually do about it except see if you can replace it
with a more recent version.

One question-what does M$ do that isn't buggy and doesn't require updaing?

Um... I dunno.
Kind of makes me wonder what the X-Box is gonna be like once its released.
It'll probably require hardware update patch cds a couple months after
launch.

"Uhh, oops, we forgot to put the CPU in. We're going to send everybody a free Pentium 75 to install themselves after they discover
how to remove the plastic cover all by themselves and since we also neglected to add a CPU socket, they're going to have to solder
it down pin by pin"
A month after thaty, they send out the heatsinks without installation instructions

Nah, it'll be too hard and cost too much for them to do that, so they'll
just let it stay buggy. Nintendo, Sega, and Sony have done that.

Not really, they're just eMachines computers with GeForce III's stripped of their OGL support. Since everything's refurb anyway, it
costs nothing to do it.

It happens from time to time, just restart the browser, that usually fixes the
problem for me anyway, lol :)

It also has something to do with the chat window height vs the browser
window's height.
resizing the browser window to find the "perfect" ratio between the two
windows allows it to display correctly.
