Mondo had a clever idea:
Avatars wearing T-Shirts that display words of the user's own choice or a protester avatar carrying a sign with words of his own choice. c pAug 18, 2005, 11:08pm

Now if you where to actively change it iguess the quickest would be to
use a url tag for the image soruce rather than a texture...thusly putting whatever image is in the texture's route on the avatar? sweAug 19, 2005, 7:25pm
em, that wouldn't work, since the avatar would be only loaded once.
my guess is that the only way to do it would have a bot make a new avatar, with a new texture (from a texture or whatever), then upload it, the texture, and avatar.dat, and then change that person's avatar, and to top it all off, have everyone bounce to reload the avatar.dat, since i believe they have to, to see the new avatars. -SWE [View Quote] jim1Aug 19, 2005, 8:34pm
Well then, that doesn't seem too practical. Still, I think Mondo identified
a attractive feature that might be done, but can't yet be done: The ability to display some persistent user-definable text -- even in areas where signs can't be built, like GZ -- without having to flood chat to keep a message visible. Hmm. [View Quote] strike rapierAug 19, 2005, 9:34pm
'F**K YOU ALL'?
Would be a PITA to moderate. -- - Mark Randall http://zetech.swehli.com [View Quote] mpl knightSep 8, 2005, 7:11am
