Reminder of a wish for us to select multiple objects and impliment a
bounding box around the group of models, or somehow lock them together, so
that we can rotate them collectively around one axis (we'd need to be able
to unlock them also, or remove the bounding box) .

I meant so that when we use create rotate we can rotate a collection of
objects around one axis. I am not sure whether this helps :

How Random,

Thats effectivly what is done manually, however I do not think AW has
implimented rotating around a single axis as it would need a key (probably
the name tag) and a lot of real-time calculation for the rotation, as well
as the offset.

But yes, this would be pretty good, wouldent be TOO hard to impliment
either, just need a bit of debugging and clever maths.

Other than using a bot like Xelagot, one thing you can do is use a key
object...What I do is build a regular object and align it with the 5 key on
the numpad. I select all the objects, and then select the key object last.
Doing that makes them rotate regularly, at least.

What does building a "regular object" mean? Are there irregular objects?

Irregular meaning not rotated around the desired axis.

Select all other objects, then select the object you want ALL the objects to rotate around.
