Privacy, Checkmark Problem (Wishlist)
Privacy, Checkmark Problem // Wishlistthe ladyDec 10, 2003, 10:45pm
When we choose to set individual settings for a person knowing our online
status, it overrides the default in our privacy settings. This is ok, but there is no way to reset all of our settings back to our browser settings. We have to remember each person we did that for, plus if they change their name, and we have decided to allow them to know our online status, chances of finding that person on my contact list to get my privacy back is nearly zero. There needs to be a way to reset all values back to the question mark, even if we've taken them off our contacts list and even if we've overridden that with the individual setting. bowen ten.sardna@newobDec 10, 2003, 11:59pm

Removing the person from your contact list restores their access to the
default browser settings. Simply re-add them (it should work). -- --Bowen-- http://bowen.homelinux.com Give me ideajuice. linn ironhead@digitalpassage(dot)comDec 11, 2003, 1:08pm

When you set your on line privacy options for a particular Cit, it will not
matter if they then change their name. It goes by Cit # , not their Cit name. Tart Sugar A little tart sugar will put a permanent pucker on yer kisser. |
